Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold to highlight the broken places.

You are the 4th person I've read that is writing about struggles and trying to work thru them. This is validating, encouraging, and also saddening to see that so many of us are having these struggles.

The host of my writing class is British but heavily influenced by Japanese culture and literature. I came across Kintsugi accidentally the minute I pressed publish (because of course I did). 😀

Enjoyable read. I like how you captured brokenness and loss in fragments of pottery and new life in mending the broken pieces. Goodness knows we all have cracks and we all try to mend ourselves as best we can to move forward. ❤️
