Welcome to my Room with a Door

Hello and welcome to my sacred writing space, my very own room with a door. My name is Claudette, and I am the creator and owner of this publication.

There is a physical and a virtual part to my room with a door:

• The physical room with a door is a room in a suburban house on the outskirts of Toronto, also known as Grosmami’s house (that’s the Swiss name for grandma). My children’s grandmother has graceously allowed me to use one of her empty room as my writing space.

• The virtual room with a door is this publication, which I launched in late November 2023.

It is my unwavering belief that all women in midlife, especially those with constant interruptions families, deserve a room with a door (and a double padlock).

It is with great joy and happiness I welcome you to join me in my virtual room with a door.

Rooted in Words is about topics I overthink and then write about: relationships, the meaning of life, the looming empty nest, communication, writing, publishing, family and friendship dynamics, midlife, love and sex and intimacy and anything else that pops into my head.

Bella Luna is about topics related to the spiritual realm, which includes the non-scientific approach to awakening the spirit, accessing and listening to your inner voice, tarot and oracle cards, spirituality outside of organized religion, quantum physics, the Law of Attraction and similar.
